Elisa Miller is a compassionate and dedicated therapist who is committed to supporting her clients on their journey of self-discovery and healing. With a focus on helping individuals overcome repetitive patterns that hold them back, Elisa guides her clients in gaining a better understanding of themselves and their choices, ultimately building a path for positive change. By delving deeply into clients' life experiences and understanding the underlying reasons behind their actions, Elisa helps them explore how their past influences their present, and empowers them to shift their perspectives and embrace new ways of thinking. Elisa believes in the power of therapy to expand self-awareness, enabling clients to move forward with authenticity and integrity. Utilizing trauma-informed practices, Elisa respects each client's unique expertise in their own life and tailors her therapy using a combination of somatic, traditional, and creative methods. With a special focus on perinatal mental health, Elisa has led a community research project to improve postpartum care in Humboldt County. Kelly Boehms has a passion for helping individuals and couples navigate the complexities of life. She aims to help clients feel safe being themselves and exploring their identies – and has a passion for working with LGBTQIA+ clients and couples navigating non-traditional relationship dynamics. Kelly’s therapeutic approach is rooted in empowerment, drawing from justice and person-centered practice, and emotionally focused therapy. She uses an eclectic model of treatment approaches and theories to create an environment that cultivates change through in-depth exploration of experiences and relationships. Her approach is complemented by the provision of practical skills to help clients manage and overcome challenges. Kelly firmly believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing, and her collaboration with clients involves a dynamic exploration of various methods to meet their needs and work toward their goals. Sessions will always begin and end in a way that honors each client’s unique experience.

Nicolle is a dedicated mental health therapist who possesses a wealth of experience in supporting and guiding individuals through their most vulnerable moments. With a specialization in teens and women's issues, she has honed her skills in understanding the unique challenges faced by these demographics. Prior to her career as a therapist, Nicolle spent years as a home birth midwife, offering comfort and assistance during some of the most critical and transformative moments in people's lives. This extensive experience has shaped her empathetic and compassionate approach to therapy, allowing her to provide a safe and nurturing space for her clients. Nicolle's unwavering commitment to helping others navigate their mental health journeys makes her an invaluable asset to the Six Rivers Wellness team.

Michael is he the founder and clinical supervisor at Six Rivers Wellness, he is also a loving father of four, a devoted husband, and a trusted friend. With his personal experiences and understanding of the challenges that come with relationships, he knows that there is a path back to warmth and connection. Michael appreciates how difficult it can be to find the right person to help in such an intimate and vulnerable aspect of life. He acknowledges the hard work that couples put into getting where they are today, but understands that somewhere along the way their dance together has fallen out of step. He understands what its like to seek something that works, something that will allow couples to thrive as their best selves. Michael firmly believes that relationships are the most important investments in life, and although it's normal for couples to experience distress, it provides a unique opportunity to deepen their connection. Through emotionally focused therapy (EFT), Michael helps you create profound changes in relationships. He wholeheartedly embraces the impact of EFT on his own relationships and witnesses its effectiveness in his therapy practice every day. Michael is devoted to helping you have smaller, less threatening conflicts, improving your communication, and becoming refuges for each other.
