Cass, Associate Social Worker (ASW), has eight years of experience as a community-based social worker, assisting transition-aged youth and young adults who experience mental health crises, depression, anxiety, suicidality, substance use, relationship issues, and complicated family systems. Majority of folks they have worked with are 2S + LGBTQIA, Disabled, Neurodivergent, Immunocompromised folks, or are impacted by the Foster-Care or Juvenile Justice System. Cass hopes to help folks individuate, navigate/process trauma, and build healthy and secure attachments and relationships.
Cass is trauma informed and believes in being knowledgeable and critical of systems which we exist within, operate within, and which impact our lives. Their work pulls from liberatory psychology and creative therapies (therapy through videogames, art, reading, movies, etc) - and aims to be anti-racist and non-pathologizing.
