Kelly Boehms, Associate Social Worker (ASW), has a passion for helping individuals and couples navigate the complexities of life. She aims to help clients feel safe being themselves and exploring their identities – and has a passion for working with LGBTQIA+ clients and couples navigating non-traditional relationship dynamics. Kelly’s therapeutic approach is rooted in empowerment, drawing from justice and person-centered practice, and emotionally focused therapy. She uses an eclectic model of treatment approaches and theories to create an environment that cultivates change through in-depth exploration of experiences and relationships. Her approach is complemented by the provision of practical skills to help clients manage and overcome challenges. Kelly firmly believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing, and her collaboration with clients involves a dynamic exploration of various methods to meet their needs and work toward their goals. Sessions will always begin and end in a way that honors each client’s unique experience.
