Veronica, Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), works with individuals, couples, and families, supporting clients as they navigate life’s challenges with greater awareness, balance, and resilience. She specializes in working with those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, identity-related concerns, and the impact of environmental and social stressors. Veronica provides a space where clients can pause, process their experiences, and begin to understand how both internal and external factors shape their well-being.

Veronica’s approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Practices, Person-Centered Therapy, and Psychodynamic Interpersonal Therapy. She also incorporates a sociological perspective, helping clients recognize how systems, culture, and lived experiences influence mental health. Through CBT and DBT, she helps clients build practical tools for emotional regulation and shifting unhelpful patterns. Through a person-centered approach, she offers empathy, authenticity, and a nonjudgmental space for growth. Through mindfulness and psychodynamic work, she supports deeper self-awareness and insight into relational and emotional patterns.

Veronica creates a warm, supportive, and culturally responsive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. She believes that healing involves not only addressing symptoms, but also understanding context—recognizing how stress, environment, and lived experiences intersect with mental health.

Success in therapy with Veronica means developing greater self-awareness, strengthening coping skills, and creating healthier patterns that align with one’s values and life goals. With support and intention, clients can move from feeling overwhelmed or stuck to feeling more grounded, empowered, and capable of meaningful, lasting change.
